Project Description
We were asked by the client to create a balanced and adjustable 4-point lifting device with 100T capacity. Lifting such heavy loads and ensuring accuracy with balancing was the main issue to resolve, alongside the need for a battery powered system.
We considered how best to incorporate the battery power, as well as balancing the centre of gravity. Material selection and Finite Element Analysis were also crucial for the successful completion of the project.
